Tips for Reporting an Accident

See if there are any injuries or anyone needs medical attention

Take photos of the scene, move your vehicles out of the way of traffic if possible

Get any witnesses contact information if possible/required

Never admit fault

Get a photo or write down the following information:
• Name and phone number of other driver
• Name and policy number of other insurance company
• Type of vehicle are they driving
• Note where and what time the accident took place
• License plate number
When to Call the Police
• If there are any injuries
• If you suspect someone is impaired by drugs or alcohol
• If any vehicle isn’t drivable or the damage exceeds $2,000
